JW Marriott has joined forces with WOW Resorts to introduce a lavish resort and residential development on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The upcoming JW Marriott Al Marjan Island Resort and JW Marriott Residences Al Marjan Island are anticipated to open their doors in late 2026, marking the debut of WOW Resorts in Ras Al Khaimah and the broader UAE market.
Situated on Marjan’s flagship island, this exclusive development promises uninterrupted sea views and encompasses a collection of 524 residences, ranging from one- to four-bedroom units, including luxurious penthouses. Complementing the residential offerings are 300 luxury guest rooms, creating a harmonious blend of living and leisure spaces.
The project is set to redefine luxury living with a host of amenities, including seven dining venues, a spa, multiple pools, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. This comprehensive approach aims to cater to the increasing demand for waterfront living experiences in the region.
Bhupender ‘Bruce’ Patel, co-founder and co-CEO of WOW Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Our collaboration with Marriott International and our venture on Al Marjan Island represents a new chapter in our journey. With the demand for waterfront living on the rise, we are committed to optimizing and elevating the experiences of all our guests and residents as we embark on this remarkable project in the UAE, set on Al Marjan Island, a prime investment destination in the region.”
Saahil Lalit, Marriott International’s Vice President of Development for the Middle East, expressed joy in reinforcing ties with WOW Resorts and Marjan. The agreement marks Marriott’s third venture on Al Marjan Island, signaling an eagerness to expand its portfolio in this iconic destination.
This partnership follows Marriott International’s recent collaboration with Dalands Holding for the forthcoming W Hotel on Al Marjan Island, scheduled to welcome guests in early 2027. It will be W Hotel’s inaugural property in Ras Al Khaimah, offering 300 keys.
Additionally, in May of the same year, Marriott inked an agreement with UAE-based real estate developer Three Musketeers Hospitality for Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort and Spa, expected to open its doors in 2026 with a room inventory of 350 keys.
With these strategic alliances, Marriott International continues to fortify its presence on Al Marjan Island, solidifying its commitment to delivering unparalleled hospitality experiences in this dynamic and sought-after destination.
